Thank you very much for your recent SPAM, I neither want it or requested it & I love the fact you have to register to unsubscribe from the email that was never requested. I have made other military forums aware many of whose members have also received SPAM & all have said they will avoid this site like the plague

I suggest you join a decent site like ARRSE

Sounds like a bit of a cry baby to me! So you subscribe to a site and they then send an SITE UPDATE e.g. not commecial mailing and you throw toys out of the pram.

Also the comments about the site being poor are a sleight against all people who have contributed articles and quotes to inspire others to getr fit.. and continue to do so

Hi newbie here, 1st posting & a little concerned. Before I get to involved in this site I like to look around & see if it’s a friendly place, 1st impressions not to bad, however then I find this thread. It’s not the title it’s the total lack of ….. I suppose moderation

Are there any rules on MF & T about PERSEC or can anyone find anyone details & stick them on the www. Potentially Chappy has put this person in harms way, as you may have seen in the earlier this year with the Muslim who was jailed for pursuing a British soldier, he found the servicemen’s details on a site like this.

Little point for Chappy check out ARRSE, Greengoddess is very much a female & the info you have posted is very male.

Maybe a little confusing for some I know but that’s not the issue. If I’m going to stay around, make friend & influence people I need to now that PERSEC & OPSEC is taken seriously here, end RANT & hi all.

CS welcome to the board. I think you have a point about personal security... no one wants to jepodise this.

A bit of slagging (after all the post did rubbish this site!) is OK if you give it then you must take as well.

Camel Spider, most of the people on here are very much a friendly bunch escpecially the moderators. You'll find any details posted by somebody on here that are deemed inappropriate (such as a name of a reg for example) are edited by the moderators as soon as they are read. I hope you will be able to trust the moderators on this site, they will do their utmost to enforce PERSEC in you words and are impartial not taking sides in a 'discussion' which are very frequent here have a good time, and hope this site has helped you like it has helped me! WWW good coments Still think the post above should be pulled with personal info (albeit not that much..) Not my problem anyway, although I started MFAT I don't run the site anymore so it's Beast's/Mods problem!
