Maths for OASC

Post by gr4pilot »

I'm doing 5 hrs a week trying to get my maths to a standard for OASC and have just finished scrutinising why on a problem solving task all my ETAs were wrong, it's cause I was just using basic S/T/D and it needed a little Trig and Pythag as well. Not good as by their calculations, a field of sheep, a family of 5 and my sone just bought it! By my calcs we all got to safety in time for lunch

So my question is, are you required in the aptitude tests, group or individual planning exercises to be able to do moderate to hard trig and pythag mentally or on paper?
Jx ;)

Maybe a little bit of Pythag, but I am almost positive there is no trig. In the aptitude tests, there were only speed/distance/time sums. Pretty hard ones at that.
