Yeah, the admin isnt that bad. Just get a routine, stick to it and just accept that you might have a later night than you expected. I like to leg it to a free sink as soon as I can and get the washing out of the way, and crack on with something else whilst it's drying and come back to the ironing later. It's better if you and an oppo can get two sinks, and use one for washing and one for rinsing, like a conveyor.
The phys so far has been good stuff, even though we've only done two weeks. The swimming so far is totally hoofing and I look forward to these sessions more than anything, even locker inspections! The toughest session was a run after coming back from first exercise. It was hard work, but I felt a real good buzz after slogging through it. Shame it turned out some people took it to heart though. Plenty more of those sessions to come in the next 30 weeks I'm sure!
Most of the lads are sound fellas too, aside from a few, but I'm sure they'll lighten up and get on with things.
I know I'm only two weeks in, with another 30 to go. That's 1/16 of the way to getting a green beret. That said, 2 weeks into september I'll be 1/8 of the way! Come Christmas leave 904 troop will be at week 19!
Can't wait to get back and see what's in store for 904 troop!

HA!James D wrote:Hi i know I've already asked these quetstions but what things have you done pt wise. What do they start you on, the guy at the careers office said they start you on 2 or 3 mile runs then so on. Just wondering because I'll be in the new troop after summer leave?
"Sorry lads we have forgotten the way of the 3 mile run so we are gonna have to do a 4 mile run"
That was our first run, heh, ah well. Just be prepared to be beasted all day long then you cant be disappointed or shocked!
Anyway, good work, 2 weeks there is nothing, maybe get a bit home sick, but you cant complain with summer leave! ha, ah well keep it up, crack on and be proud to be Royal. Dont drop like i did after week 8, im telling you now, i always said i never will, but you WILL regret it.
