Final Interview Pointers

Post by chrispob »

Hi all,

I have my final interview on Wednesday if anyone who has already done it can give me some pointers as to what they will be asking in addtion to what the asked in the 1st interview that would be great.

Also, ive heard that that RAF Cottesmore has the new Typhoon fleet and that the occomodation is great there, is this correct?

Im due to join as an Avionics recruit, what are the main bases for Avionics and the best ones?

Any replies would be great, thanks.

No, Cottesmore is 1F, 2(A/C), 3(F) & 4(A/C) Sqns - all Harriers. It's RAF Coningsby in Lincs that is starting to collect the new Typhoon Fleet - 17(R) and 29(R) Sqns.

Nope,

2(A/C) or more correctly II (AC) Sqn, where AC stands for Army Cooperation, is a Tornado recce squadron.

Pedantic I know but attention to detail is where it's at :)

Regards

ss

PS Accommodation at Cottesmore is reasonable, as for best base for a young techie I would suggest RAF Honington hehehehe!

Sorry, should have noticed that little mistake - especially as I've spent the day with II. Opps
