Yes, 40mg a day. Give him his due he did phone me and warn me about the potential hazards but from memory that would only happen to me if I was in withdrawal from it? As it seems to be working I chose to stay on it rather than the alternative he offered which to me was a higher risk.
What would you suggest instead?

ss
PS
More militaryt trivia for the spotters amongst us:
In the spare parts wallet of the GPMG are a number of tools. One of these tools is listed in abbreviated form as the TAFRE. What does TAFRE stand for?

Per Ardua
That's the worst of todays forces, everything is bloody metric. 4 x 2 did me all my life, why can we not stick to that?
TAFRE? Bloody TAFRE????? Is that the thing for taking the stones out of horses hooves?
From memory our GPMG kits were:
Pushrods
Wire Brushes
Extractor extraction tool (don't let go too quickly - sproiinggg)
Spare 3 pos gas plug
4 x 2
Emery Paper
Wire wool
Cold chisel
2lb Lump hammer
2 gallons of OM 15 (for throwing over hot receivers).
Oh yes - and the obligatory 1/2 ton of cotton waste to mop everything up afterwards.

My learned colleague appears to reside in Englandshire whereas I am domiciled in Haggismuncherland.
Is you suggesting we lift each other's shirts and do a bit of rivet punching?

hes on about how geeky you both are
though your hardly a spotter if you know how much flanalette to put on the end of your pullthrough, because everyones taught it at basic and if you get it worng the consequences are funny to say the least
ever seen an SA80 with a pullthrough hanging out the barrel with a broken door handle tied to it
ok your a spotter if you can comlete the following in full
"may i remind you its both a civilian and a military offence to leave the range with any live rounds or empty cases, if upon leaving the range...."
