Now I know that Royal Marines training is harder or should I say longer than the army's. But how are the two different ??

I am asking Royal Marines and Army here so please tell me your personal feelings on either one.

Cheers lads

If you go to the RM section on the forum, there is a thread about who's in and who's not.

Careers

Post by Ulster Man »

Hello there people!

I am contemplating a career in the Armed Forces, and I wonder if anybody could shine some light on what path I should take. I torn between the Parachute Regiment, and the Royal Marines. I would be very greatful if someone could take the short period of time to answer this.

Thanks

Alight mate.

I hate to sound repetitive, but you should find sufficient information in the 'Joing the Paras' and 'Joining the Royal Marines' sections on this forum.

If you have any quieries, post them there.

Cheers. :) :fadein:

Ulster man, what about ye  There are several posters here from your neck of the woods, all Bootnecks. Why spoil things. Go Royal, you know it makes sense.

Jules, your recent profile mug-shot made a happy man feel very old
But enough about Rob
I am truly amazed at the difference between the girly, outdoors, slightly naive young girly girl in yer previous phot, and the very attractive, sophisticated, elegant, confident, mature young woman in yer recent phot. The enigmatic smile has me wondering……
Bleeding gorgeous, all in favour say “Aye”
Aye,
Why? because I can
Well, if yer ever in WA you can 8)

I`m far too much of a gentleman to reveal that, on an open forum
And I wasn`t wondering if a dance was out of the question, then. Before you ask :P
smooth as sandpaper
Yup, that`s me, grade 0000 extra fine. It`s what they use to put the final polish on babies bottoms 8)
Take no notice of those two reprobates, Jules. They wouldn’t recognise a compliment if it bit them on the arse
Mwa mwa,
Aye,

PS I refer the Honourable Member for Truro west to a recent e-mail he received from my goodself containg a photograph and a certain question :P

Oooh Harry

The first pic of me in my woolly hat was taken when I was all done up in me leathers at Silverstone at Easter last year to watch BSB.(oh happy times when I actually got to spend whole weekends with the Scarlet Pimpernel!) and the 'new me' was taken in March of this year for my Formula Woman application form. (I wanna be a racing driver! Search "Formula Woman" on Google and you'll see what its all about.)

Maybe Im better off without him eh? At least I take a more sophisticated picture when Im not all leathered up! And now I shall go and wash my mouth out with soap for even thinking Id be better off without my bootie! :(
Why? Because I can!
