Query for all those who've attended PRMC

Post by GGHT »

1.) How long are the marking time intervals on the bottom field?

2.) When performing press-ups head down or looking straight ahead?
(Seems easier head down)

3.) Also anyone here got that RM Circuit training book by Robin Edgar and Dieter Lorraine? I have it and it's excellent, but the clap press ups during the Beast are giving me real trouble.

Thanks, I know they seem trivial but still.

No longer than a minute.

Head forward. Though to be honest I don't remember, but train with your head forward, as it's harder and won't catch you out on PRMC if that's the case.

Two RM PTI's as authors. The culmination of the eight week programme is a 12.5 minute circuit that involves jogging 10 secs between EACH exercise. (36 times!)
It's very intense, 3 times circuit although the main prob im having is that it requires you to do 12 normal, clap and narrow pressups within about 45 secs of each other. Doesnt sound too tough but your tris are burning!

Good advanced ones on there as well, i.e. sprint circuits and an "SBS challenge."

It looks like one of them 'Barry Davies' books, where they give silly information and stories to gullible people. No offence to you mate! SBS Challenge, I don't think I could see SBS hopefuls buying the book.

Someone should tell him its elbows in, he wont have a chance on PRMC! ;)

....and the Dagger is upside down!

the time spent reading a book on phys is less time outside doing the phys!

LOL, I know it takes itself a bit seriously but its to sell copies to us civvies init (had it given but anyway!)

Bit of an eye opener though about the dagger an that lol.
The front cover graphics are a bit sketchy but to be fair they are ex- PTI's and the later circuits are certainly challenging. Also the chapters on stretching etc are handy for a complete civvy like me.

The "SBS Challenge" is like a super-circuit done after a 3 mile run in 20 mins, to be fair they say more than once it's just a very vague guideline and not an actual test.
