more guidance

Post by the_trainee »

looking for advice from prefferably people who have passed out from training, and PTI'S on these questions,

i currently use a weight gain powder that i mix wiv milk once a day and can someone advise wether im doing more harm than good in improving my fitness ?

one of the PTI'S told me while at CTCRM that the recruits dont use dumbells so should i stop using these to help me pass my prmc ?

also i tend to do a lot of bench pressing at my gym as its strengthened my pectorals considerably is this useful in gaining a pass ?

cheers,

Mate just read your other thread on failing the PRMC. Drop the weight gain powder and the weights and start bashing out pressups, pullups and sit ups. You ONLY need to develope those muscles, as you might of guessed after being put through the prmc. The muscles your gaining from doing weights and taking weight gain powder is just sucking up oxygen, making you heaver, slower and probably unfitter, hence the bad time on the assault course. You need to be lean and have the nessasary muscles to bang out the pressups pullups and situps.

Couldn't of said it better  . You need to put all your energy into running, circiut traininig, i.e press-ups, and sprint training. You should know this if you have just done prmc.

Why don't the pair of you meet up Wato and The Trainee?

That way you can help each other hack it. And it's much more enjoyable when some else has similar aims in life. Just a suggestion is all.
