The three soldiers have as you know been found guilty, they have been dismissed from the Army and have been sentenced to prison terms ranging from 5 months and up to 2 years.
Now a further question did any one ever hear just what happened to those soldiers that faked the photographs of torture. Their trial began some months ago and since then it all went quite.

We havent heard a thing about them on this side of the pond. Another question ......where there ever any officers charged with regards to these incidents? I ask because when Canada had a similar incident a few years back it was the peons that got .....well peed on , 9er was no where to be found .

Guess what all the Officers got promoted, even the ones that burnt their note books two weeks before the trail as they thought that the books would not be required.

Its almost laughable ............if some young lives hadnt been ruined , all I can say is we in Canada seem to have the same problems . I guess we are still part of the Empire after all .

I think it's more like we're still part of human civilization after all.

If you mean its part of human civilization to hang the "lads" out to dry , when the ones at the top (the buck is supposed to stop here) who are ultimatley responsable actually get promoted , than I guess we aggree ......if not we will aggree to disaggree.
