RM TV Documentary.

Post by W.Mitty »

There was a TV seris a while ago on Sky TV about the Royal Marines, it was about a Troop going through training and also about when the Marines were out in Oman and a few other things, I think it was also aired on Channel 4, there was also another seris about the Marines about a Troop of recruits and a all arms cse a few years back.

Does anybody know if you can get either of these on vid/dvd as I wouldn't mind watching them again, I have searched for ages on the net and cant find anything.

Cheers for any help John.

The series following the recruits in training was on the Discovary channel and is still on from time to time. I think there was about 6 episodes in all.

Yeh I watched the sniper programme, is it the one where they had to spot certain objects away in the distance with binoculars. The objects where a silly distance away aswell lol. Also they had to sneak around a hillside without getting spotted by obsevers and get two shots off at a target without the two observers being able to tell where they are. Quality episode

you could maybe download kazaa or limewire, maybe they got some programmes on there about the Marines. i would check myself for you but my kazaas not working and limewire has alot of naughty stuff (get it!, get it!) but if your brave, check on it and see.
