Best you try to remember what you have previously posted in future then Hey?

As I said earlier Engaging your Brain before hitting the keyboard is a damn good idea. Because abuse is annoying and also shows just how immature some people are on this site. I am not naming names as I hope the guilty parties will hoist in whats been written and try harder to be like the majority of the members.

I am not now nor indeed have I ever been an Angel but at least I'm trying to curtail my immediate reactions to PRONGS with their Thumbs up their Bums and Minds in neutral. If what I have written annoys certain people.....TOUGH!

I would like to appologise to Cliodna for falsely accusing her of editing my post. It was neither your fault or mine. Someone else edited it, in the most blatent way possible, as i NEVER use 'txt speak'. Also, that post was edited after i posted it, yet i could not have done it, as there is no message at the bottom saying "post last edited on....".

So there you go, for anyone thinking i was in the wrong on that occasion.

I think we ought to give James (future Para) a bit of leeway!
After all - he writes legibly. speaks clearly and clearly has a future in the Paras! (Poor soul!)
And who hasn't posted before engaging brain? I certainly am guilty!!
His only " crime" is in being young, inquisitve and immature!
Weren't we all once?
And this is the Community Forum!

Some people need to get out there and get some life experience before blabbing about stuff they have no clue about. During the past month I've had everything thrown at me. Best mate that I've known for 18 years died from allergic reaction when out for a meal with the girlfriend, then my girlfriend starts acting like a nutter (all during training).

Believe me when I say most of the ex-forces people on here have been through/seen more crap than you can imagine, and to have 17 year old kiddies blab useless tripe all the time gets under their skin.

Anyway as someone said before, the more people talk about things the less they get done. Its a bloody shame this forum went to s**t.

Honey the forum hasnt gone to shit, it just needs guidance from those who were there in the very begining and will be there to the end.

We are all guilty of misguidance, but those who went subscription will always be around on the community forum, whether posting or not. I for one am a nosey bastard and love taking a peek, but if i can offer a friendly piece of advice ( a lot of it from experience - and no im not an auld slapper) then i will. A lot of new blood has come onto community and they were given the benefit of the doubt to post as and when, but i have to agree that an awful lot of youngsters ( i was one too :D ) are posting ludicrous questions and some of the advice offered by new blood is dangerous. Nobody on these forums wants to see a Potential Recruit FAIL due to wrong advice, so the moderators, old and bold, grumpy old men and auld slappers will put there two pennies worth in. WHY because they have been there and earned the RESPECT of those colleagues and partners whom they worked with on various deployments. Like was said previous many people on the forum are using text speak, what a load of firking cobblers  , if you cant spell get back to school or move forward in class and have your eyes tested. And im not being vacicious when i say that because unfortunately it is true. Guys if you want to get on then study well. Dont come on here giving it old sweat routine when your only conception, perception and knowledge comes from a PS2 game or DVD, because you could seriously firk up somebody genuines career.

WOULD YOU WANT THAT TO HAPPEN TO YOU?

Three things, firstly
People like Harry the grumpy old man who picks and chooses who he wants around the place
I don’t pick who I want around the place. At one time I sent a pm to each and every new member welcoming them to this forum. I also used to post a "welcome aboard" in new members first post. I stopped doing that after certain eegits started copying me.

Secondly, we have chucked someone off here because of their views only once. Once in how many members? Two thousand three hundred and fifty six and we`ve binned only one. We aren’t getting at you because of your opinions but because of the way you express them and this isn’t a personal vendetta. I couldn’t give a toss about your opinion of me. On the W4nker Of The Week thread, I deliberately do not recommend w4nkers and rarely post there.( two or three times in forty pages)

Thirdly, you don’t have to ask to be binned; you can bin yourself by either,
A) Stop visiting this site
B) Go into your profile and follow the prompts.

A) would be the easier option.
