RHA in Knightsbridge..... help!

Post by flighty »

How can we get in touch with someone who is based here and all we have is a name?

My lad's best mate from basic training is there now, but Ben lost his mobile with his number and address a while ago so can't get in touch with him.

As you all say, you make life-long friends during basic and Ben would really like to stay in touch.

We've had a look on the Army website but there doesn't appear to be any contact details such as a postal address or phone number.

Can anyone help?

The RHA is in Albany Street near Camden Town and not Knightsbrifge, or it was a couple of years back. The Household Cavalry are at Knightsbridge, you could try writing to the RHA at this address requesting that this person contact you and why.

Oooops .... just double-checked and he is, indeed, with the Household Cavalry.

Thanks for your help. :)

As far as I know, the Household Cav are at Horse Guards in London. You may of confused RHA with the Royal Horse Guards as they are one of the different rgmts that come under the Cav.

You could use this link for contact:

Quite right, too.

I don't expect anyone to divulge someone else's personal details to me.

Rest assured, I am only a psychonutter on alternate days, so if I write to them on Tuesday I should be ok.

And as this youth is drop-dead gorgeous I think it's really important that he should remain bosom buddies with my lad. :o

In my line of business I have to be very wary of who- you- tell- what-about whom.

Colleagues have had to undergo name changes and complete personality transplants to avoid certain death when clocking in on a Monday morning after a good court hearing on a Friday. :o

Within hours of emailing the Household Cavalry I received an email back from a lady with a frightfully posh name who assures me she will find this lad for us.

Thanks for your help, chaps. :D
