You put in your original post "not" then claimed you meant to say "now". That is a spelling mistake or typing mistake, NOT Grammar.

However, grammar does cover morphological structure (the structure of words), and obviously syntax also (sentence structure). But the time adverbial, "now", is a monosyllabic word and is in its most basic form, therefore no grammatical features apply.

If you are commenting on how the word "now" was in the wrong place in the sentence, then yes that is a grammatical error. Your adverbial should come after the object in the sentence, in this case it was "the army".

If only they paid people to go to school. Im sure pupils would try harder and attend all classes.

I could claim i did that on purpose...but i would be lying. :P

I dont think it is non standard English when i have put the double negative in context. How else can you write that sentence? Yes, its a colloquial phrase but it does the job and nothing else is as effective.

I have my BARB test on Monday at 1300. I've heard something about an aptitude test, is this the same thing or something different ?(guessing its something different since they have different names)
If so, do I have to do it & when ?
