Bout Ye Big Lad!

Post by Humph »

Hello,

Been watching from a distance for a while but thought I should get involved. I am currently studying at University but have been looking into a commision as an officer in the Royal Marines for the past few months which drew me here. I am originally from Co. Tyrone in Northern Ireland where i had a lovely view of an army base on the hill opposite hence I have grown up with the armed forces around me and have always had an interest. My main reasons for wanting to join are that an active, outdoor career would suit me best, I want a motivating job that lets me see new places and experience new things and above all I beileve that I can make a success of it (wouldn't be any point otherwise.) Why the Green Lid? The Royal Marines for me are a benchmark of proffesionalism and success and I relish the challenge of trying to make the grade in selection.

Thats about it and before you start worrying I know where the search function is and will try and post using the Queen's English at all times.
