Rabbits?

Post by Guest »

I saw this picture and I was wondering what the reason was for having to kill a rabbit as I was told you dont eat it you just have to kill it. Some one said to me that its to prove that you can kill something but surely to kill a rabbit is nothing comparied to having to kill a human.

I believe a story was in the papers a couple of years ago about this, how the evil Marines were killing little fluffy bunnies in Training, so I am not sure if they do it anymore.Maybe someone who is in training could comment.

Hey guys,
While I was on PRMC in July, our corporal told us about this. Apparently it's part of a survival exercise where you are dropped off in Dartmoor or Woodbury Common and given a rabbit, which you do indeed eat (or go hungry). As far as I've heard it's got nothing to do with proving anything other than basic survival skills.
Cheers,
Josh.
Check it out, Independently targetting particle-beam phalanx. VWAP! Fry half a city with this puppy. We got tactical smart-missles, phased plasma pulse-rifles, RPG's. We got sonic electronic ballbreakers, we got nukes, we got knives, sharp sticks..."

Got it in one Joshualoftus,
probably except for the "get given" bit. If it moves....catch it  If it doesn't leave it, its more than likely got mixi.

On top of all that, you also get to model a most fetching rabbit hat c/w ears to tie under your chin, or a novel glove puppet

ML's seem to have a brilliant knack of making the most miserable situations funny, usually while you're wet too :D
