Barry

There is a new dev centre opening soon as a planned expansion of the one which is itself just opening at Queens Island. I will keep an eye out mate. Do you have any sales experience?

M

Gore - I will gladly swap the grind of corporate business solutions with you for a crack at the PSNI. I got turned down first go (guess its cos I'm a Prod!!) but any advice on joining would be great!!

This is the old rivalry rearing its head and you are right Harry its Horlicks, when the shit kicks off all of these guys are superbly trained, if they ran off then they had good reason - who was the sas guy? So what a couple of landies and a quad got left, did they take their weapons? Of course and thats what they needed. Lots of "ex-regiment" out there  seem to be happy to comment on how bad things were. Would be interested to find out if the said ex reg blokes were bitter due to lack of co-operation in country from serving members. I find it disapointing that members of the elite forces are bickering, we are all in line for budget cuts and this wont help.

Mitty
Ex special forces to Microsoft in Regus House.....

And you were in Rwanda as well...
MrMitty wrote:Firstly please discount the name, a shocking choice if you want to get taken seriously on here I have found!!

Were you a Soldier serving with UK forces in Rwanda in 1994, did you hitch a ride on a convoy delivering grain and supplies to villages en route between Kigali and Kibungo? Were you involved in an ensuing firefight. Some names are Danny/Barry? I can be more specific with dates if you need it. You saved our lives that day, I never got to thank you.

For those who read this and laugh, it has taken many years for me to start to trace who was involved I owe the soldiers who I am sure were British and maybe special forces my life as do all the others who survived.

thanks

Apparently these "boat people" were as good as Mr Mitty. They must have been really good!

Sticky,

The point of my posts were to highlight Mr Mitty's let's say, colourful background. Apparently he was in the SAS then he was in Rwanda in 1994 after he graduated from University and now he works for Microsoft in Belfast...

Is it just me or does someone else smell pork?
