Moustaches

I have a question that I was a little embarrased to ask at the AFCO.

I have a moustache (that has took a while to grow), and it is of a good enough standard, will I have to shave it off at PGAC or in basic training?

The reason I ask is that I have one as my late uncle used to have one, and it is my way of remembering him. It's been a few years now. Obviously I would shave it rather than not go into the RAF, I'm not that silly.

Are moustaches even the fashion in the Regiment?

Hypothetically speaking of course as I am way to old to join the Reggy.

Anybody have any answers though?

I saw people ( usually blokes ) come through basic with mustaches

I think if it is a decent one , not some wispy boys attempt then its okay

Of course you may look like one of the village people ...............
