Once i do my phase 1 and 2 training will wearing glasses stop me from doing either the commando course or P company?

The job i will be doing can specialise and do p company and commando course.

Glasses would be frowned on in P Company, also how will jump with your glasses on. As they can get all the fit young men they need, then why would they take some one with glasses.

Yeh i can see why they would say no for p company but im sure i have seen people in the paras wearing bins.

I really think you are getting too ahead of yourself mate. Keep it in the back of your mind for later and enjoy basic and battalion life first.

Wont stop you at all mate, you'll just be called 'spekie' all though it (you'll be called that in basic anyway.

Go ahead and do them both mate, commando course is all about soldiering, p coy is all about being ragged up and down hills.

'spekie' dosent bother me, had that insult every now and then since i wore them, im sure whoever calls it me with have a fault with them, i'll just be sure to point it out
