I know a lad down there in the current batch of yo's.... They got a thrashing on their second day and the thrashings have been getting more intense everytime - Usually lasting 2 hours at a time.....

The kit inspections have been pretty brutal by all accounts too - Does a locker inspection on the train platform means anything to the old and bold ?

They are only just approaching week 4 too -

I'm sure you're just as keen as the next man who wants to become a Rupert - But I don't think a lot of people realise how mentally and physically demanding it is to be an Officer, especially in the later stages of Commando training. I know I wouldn't want to do it

AFAIK it depends on what kind of a person you are, whether you have the qualities and will to lead people. Personally though, the Rupert's path isn't one for me.
