Basic - October 18th

Post by Jamie T »

Alright, anyone else going on this? I know Jackal is for a start. I wanted to join sooner but the places were all taken, b*st*rds. Suppose it's only two months, but I want to be there now!

cheers

Cheers Ian, well that makes two from my PRMC. The other one I know that's on my course got to week 9 a while ago but had to drop out due to personal reasons. There are probably more from my PRMC too, just have to wait and find out.

cheers

There's at least 5-6 people from my PRMC (that I know of) who're going down. But apparently the bloke at HQ who sorts placings out is on leave, so none of us are actually deffinalty on that date yet (People from my PRMC anyway). So i've just got to wait and see.......He did say it was about 90% likely :x

I've filled in all my necessary forms now (measurements, health stuff, etc.) and just have to stamp and post them. I was supposed to get a return envelope but didn't. My final briefing is on September 13th at 13:00, should be good.

Jackal, hope you do get to start with your mates from the PRMC. You already know them and you've been through something together already. I know atleast 2 people from my PRMC who are going. I still can't wait to start basic.

cheers

Anyone heard more recently whether you're on this course?
I'm training hard and earning a bit of cash at a mate's pub at the moment. I've put on a bit of muscle too as I was advised to "eat more scran" and put a bit of weight on. I'm half a stone heavier than on the PRMC.

Keep up the training.

Nice one mate, what time train are you getting and where from?
I didn't think PRMC candidates and recruits were allowed to show up on the same day. Oh well.

Might see you there.

GOOD LUCK! Just keep going.
