Incline pull up alternatives

Post by friendlyfireaintfriendly »

Has anybody got a cunning alternative to incline pull ups due to the lack of a bar that can take my weight in the house?

Yeah, go out and buy a Pull Up bar from Argos for around £7.99, well worth the money.

Find a tree or goal post somewhere.

Tricep dips are brilliant. Give them a try and see what you think. :D As has been suggested before also, inclined pull ups seem to be rather dangerous as the broom can slip off the top of the two chairs and cause injury.

If you arent sure what tricep dips are check here ( only when doing them, dont bend your knees cos thats just easy, and as far as i'm aware, marines don't do anything easy. lol)

A really simple excercise but also really effective as it works so many different muscle groups in your body.

Yeah they do as it's pulling rather than pushing, whereas tricep dips are pushing which works the tricep, both good exercises though.
