Colour blindness is NOT a bar to entry in the army, and i am surprised it is in the marines. I have enquired about it and soldiers in the infantry can apply if they have CP4 (colour perception4) or better.

Im red/green colour blind but only slightly if you can only be slightly colour blind and i havent had a problem during my application unless there gonna spring it on my when i get down there.

i'm sure being colour blind would bar you from some jobs in the army.... im not 100% sure but it is something they test on your medical, so i doubt it's for nothing

I should imagine something like driving a tank may need full colour vision as i should imagine there is alot of reds and greens with targets etc

If you have glasses but only need them for PC, TV and books will the RM still take you on?

yea i think so, as long as tou dont have milk bottles for glasses you should be ok.
