Be careful of making sweeping statements like that young sir.

Didn't he get refused entry to the police, he was up at ITC in catterick a few years ago.
It's better to be tried in court by 12 men than to be carried in a box by 6.

Blaming the whole police force for certain incidents is like blaming every serving soldier for incidents like the rape/murder of that woman in cyprus by soldiers, and the bloody sunday massacre etc. Not every copper is a tw*t. The system IS a tw*t, though. Just like the system that runs HM forces is a tw*t.

Hey at the time i wasn't best pleased with the police force, now i don't mind they are just doing a job, even if 'some' officers are complete W@nkers. I am not going to retract a statement, but i no longer think that and i don't even know the details around the case, so i shouldn't of said anything.

Perhaps that's best.

I personally think that the British police are pretty good. If the powers that be let the busies get on with things and not tying them up with red tape, then we'd have less crime, i'm certain of that.

I think the police force would work a hell of a lot better if they still had the powers they used to. The ammount of abuse they have to put up with nowadays is amazing. They get hit, kicked, spat at and vebally abused, and they're not even allowed to retailiate. Personally if they did that to me I'd want to get my batton out and give them the good news.

Hence thats why I'm not a copper.

If they could still clip you round the ear I think it would make a lot of these mouthy youths soon stop and think about sorting their lives out.

I think they deserve the upmost respect for doing a tough job with little or no thanks from the people they protect.

There are w@#k everywhere you go, no matter where you go. We have gone through all this before when i first signed up, i longer dislike the police as one of my best friends is a Copper in London and he tells me what he goes through. I know what a Police Officer does and what they go through, and can understand now whereas i didn't before.

You have matured with age Mr Vibes but i think people don't truely know what a Police Officer does or goes through until he or she is the one with everyone looking at them asking "whats next", im sure your mate in the Met has had a lot of this type of example to tell you about however its like a bad joke, you had to be there to fully understand.

My best mate is currently in the process of joining the police, and I used to know a lad who was a "special" as well. They're not all bad. Just like everywhere, be it the forces, the prison service or wherever you get men of authority... you get people that take the p**s and abuse it. Like the copper who was caught throwing punches at that lad on a camcorder, when the lad was clearly doing f**k all wrong. Like I said on my previous post, you can't blame all coppers for isolated incidents like this. I'm sure the majority of coppers just want to do their job right, get paid and go home. We've all had our run-ins with the police  but when we do, we've usually brought it on ourselves.
Before anyone wants to start dragging up stories about corrupt police etc. Like I've already said, I know it DOES HAPPEN.

Heh..I dunno what RMP is like now but when my dad was in he didn't mind giving squaddies the good news   Fair enough too...over here, in maybe one of the most PC countries ever (that's right, im not joking :x ) the criminal gets all the rights. Be it a black eye or a shooting, after he copper being endangered it's still the coppers fault. They scum are even sueing about their prison conditions   So utmost respect to them all...Mind you they don't mind the traffic tickets 8)

If you end up getting hit by me you are a real twat. You will either have had numerous chances, are about to assault me or any other person or are indeed assaulting me or any other person.

If you don't like being hit/arrested then I suggest you don't break the law.
