Hey guys just a quick question about Sit ups. Me and my mate were talking about Sit ups today whilst down at the football (Leicester lost again so we decided to ignore the match in the second half) anyways he said that when he does his sit ups he finds it easier to stick his feet under his sofa so his legs are stuck into position but Surely you can't have some sort of weights on your feet when doing PRMC so what he is doing is pointless???
Sorry again if its been covered but i can't find it
Lol that would be annoying if your trying your best to do as many sit ups as you can and you have someone who cant hold your feet properly i would be annoyed.
It's better to be tried in court by 12 men than to be carried in a box by 6.

yeah they will tell him, but if he hasnt got the energy to hold ya feet, what can you do? same with bottom field, i am 11 stone, i had a 20 stone guy on my back and he wouldnt hold tight and dig in, and he had the cheek to shout in my ear its only pain , he wasnt helping me 1 bit!
Even though they do allow holding feet at PRMC (however effective it may be), I train without anchoring my legs because the sit ups feel harder to do, so you are getting more muscle work out of your reps. Similarly, I try to stand in a stress position when lifting weights so that the legs and stomach get worked at the same time as the arms and shoulders.
I do the same thing, except I pull my knees to my chest at the same time (creating a scissor-like movement). Not sure what that's called though.
