I have recently registered on this site, and have been receiving emails that say i have new messages in my inbox. However when i log in to read them, there are none there !!

Look at the top of this page and below the bulldog you will see the icons... 6th Icon along after profile is the PM button. Click that and you'll be whisked away to your inbox.
