I honestly can't be bothered with football.

It's just gotten ridiculous - they can afford to pay a guy a couple of million £s to kick a ball for 90mins every so often, but they can't afford a bullet proof vest for guys and gals risking their lives every day in the flippin desert :x :x

I mean, what has this world come to??

Rugby - the PROPER game! Not too big a supporter, but I'd rather watch Donny play and lose than see some nonce footballer rolling over when the guy only touched him

At least rugger injuries are real - blood and all!! And then the guys keep going :D

Odd is not the word, the reason why there are so few post on Football is because this is the response you get.....

Wenger hails 'amazing' feat

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has labelled his side's record 43-match unbeaten league run as "amazing".

He said: "I think it's something amazing, to look at the number of goals we scored in the 43 games and the number of victories we have had.

"The quality of football was good, and in the modern game it's amazing.

"If you change a fraction of the attitude or the players' form, it can become difficult to win. We have to show we're intelligent and humble."

Wenger added: "Don't wait until it doesn't work to become rigorous again.

"When it goes well, be vigilant and rigorous. If you think we can become easy, it will change quickly.

"At this moment in time we have to show that we are intelligent people and be more demanding from each other.

"We want to improve and this record shows that we have become better from season to season, in the last three seasons we have made a step forward again compared to the first four seasons."

Why does everyone always bring up up how much footballers earn?

They're the best at what they do. If the top lawyers, doctors and bankers can earn zillions for what they do why cant footballers? So what if they get 50 grand a week? They deserve every penny they get.

As for it being pointless its no more pointless than watching a glimmering box in a corner of the room every night.

It brings entertainment to millions, its theatre, art and war mixed together and yeah its tribal, thats why we love it. I suppose you lot will never really understand.

I can understand why people like football. It just isn't for me. I wasn't brought up with it.

Fair enough, but I hate it when people start whining about how much they get paid. Its plain jealousy.
