last time i did a bleep test, i only got about 12.8 (was in the officer training corps), because i hadn't trained for sprints...the guys who seemed to do well, as in touching 14 to mid 14, played rugby and football quite a bit for uni so it was incorporated into their training.

as Rambo said, i doubt you'd hit 16, never mind 17, by doing runs at 9 min mile pace, which is quite slow anyway.

either way, you'd have to be bloody fit to hit 16.

Thats fine, im hitting level ten at the moment without working at it too hard so i should be able to push to level 12 at least when the time comes.

Thanks

I managed to get level 13 on my PRMC. I could have gone for longer (don't know how much, but longer), but level 13 was the highest level required so the tape was stopped. I mostly train cross country at about 7min/mile pace with sprints added (about 100m each time). I either run a 5 mile circuit or an 8 mile circuit. PLENTY of hills as I'm on Dartmoor, makes it......."interesting" shall we say. :D

I'm interested to see what level 16 is like.

Cheers.
