Rolling Roling Rolling!!!

Post by yomp'n'romp »

The ball is now rolling. I have been to the AFCO and have my interview and medical booked for the 12th of August. I now feel that my fitness is at a level that will enable me to pass PRMC (hopefully anyway). I've been training for 6 months now and can do 55 press ups and 83 sit ups after completeing the bleep test.

Next week im going to try and simulate PRMC as much as possible after reading the PRMC diary of a guy that tried in Feb, and the schedule they follow during PRMC. (Obviously without assault course, but ill think of something to compensate for it).

Just thought i'd drop in and say my hello's to fellow potential nod's :D
and good luck with all of your hard work and training, especially if you have your PRMC coming up shortly, and even more especially to those of you who are getting ready for basic.

Good Luck Guys, Keep Up The Hard Work

I hope the subject of this topic isn't related to a Limp Bizkit song!

Anyway, I don't think it's possible to "simulate" a PRMC; the schedule in the green bible is a bit off anyway. Though there's nothing wrong with getting up at 5am, going for an hour of training a couple of hours later and then totally mauling yourself in the afternoon for an hour or two. Then, the next day get up at the same time. Gor for a 3 miler and then maul yourself, again.

Good luck! :)
