If you go to the Joining Royal Marines forum and read the first half dozen subjects you will discover how much you need all those eight weeks. 8) Enjoy.

From a standing start, down into a squat (hands on deck in press up position)extend legs to the press up position, bring the legs smartly to a squat and then jump up leaving the deck, arms and legs stretched in a star position. Doesn't sound much until you have been doing them for a while. :o

Spooks we entertain all levels of knowledge and ability, from heroes of the inner urban ring-road justice movement to stealth fighters of the antipodes. 8)

If you go out 'joggin' at a 9 minute mile pace then you wont be able to get to level 17 on the bleep test, FACT. To be able to get to that level then you need to be able to sprint for quite a while. You body would not be physically able to do that if you have trained your muscles so that they are mad up mainly of slow-twitch fibres

That adventure racing looks well good, how did you get into it Goldie? I'm not far from cannock chase, supposed to be good for a challenging run.
