The answer to your question is yes.
If you would care to post it in the Joining RN forum, I`m sure someone will tell you.
And welcome aboard
Aye

Its fairly easy, first they check through the form with the list of medical conditions you have to fill out and ask a couple of questions, then an eyesight test, check your hearts ok, measure your chest, measure your height and weight, then the dreaded drop your pants and cough  , a hearing test and take a urine sample, thats about it. :)

Hello, welcome and greetings (etc etc) :).
The medical for the RN isn't too complicated, first off you get poked and prodded a bit (make sure verything is in the right place, breathing and blood pressure and so on). The cough test seems to be a funny one; some people seem to have the contents tested (to put it politely :D ), whereas when I did it the doctor (point of interest was that this was a civilian rather than a military doctor, I expect the military haven't got enough of their own to plonk them in a recruiting office) pressed around my stomach (or lower torso generally, my memory isn't spot on) while I coughed. It could be this is a more recent methds of doing things, I can't really say. Then you get oodles of questions on just about everything which is simple enough, and a hearing/vision test. There is also a urine test so don't have anything dodgy in your system beforehand... :-?

Sounds obvious, but make sure you drink lots of water, you'll have to give another sample if the first one comes back that you're dehydrated.
