Does anyone know if 2 Squadron of the RAF Regiment do the full P company course? And if so, what roughly is the pass rate?

I think this was mentioned recently on another thread. I seem to remember the jump was about three years before the recent emergency, after an 8 hour flight, and purely for training purposes, during the re-establishment of the Parachute capabilities of the Regt. Right/Wrong??The last airborne troops to jump into an operation theatre were...........PARAS..wrong..................2 FIELD AIRBORNE RAF REGT!!

Well I know that it was classed as an operation jump and they all received a medal for the tour they did out there.
Not as flashy as it sounds but they did technically jump into a hostile country.
Para's 0 Raf Regt 1.
Also 2 sqn are the first unit to complete and pass the new jungle warfare course in Belize.

"Operational Jump " Implies on Active Service. Or I'm I wrong, maybe we could class Cyprus, N Ireland, etc as Operational Jumps. We received medals for there, and had done jumps but were nothing to do with Operations.
The last Operational Jump by non SF would be Suez. I don't think you could count the one in FI as this was one person. He can count it thou.
