100 UK special forces join hunt for al-Zawahiri

Post by Aldo »

Just heard on the news that 100 special forces troops have arrived in Kabul airport to take part in the hunt for Al Qaeda's second in command al-Zawahiri. It's not been confirmed yet and is in no way official, they said it came from someone who works at the airport so might be total rubbish.

Anyone else think this is a bit odd that it's been plastered all over the news?

Probably just rubbish but none the less you would still cack yourself at the thought of 100 SF after you!

100 SAS troops act as recon force for (deep breath) 5,000 american troops 3 companies of tanks 4 flights of helicopter gunships and all logistics signals and air support.

I believe that was the full headline. Just goes to show how we operate differently

If this story is true, why not just let our lads do the job properly???
