Well shiver my timbers, just got the latest issue of the Globe and Buster, and low and behold, the Kings Badgeman for 855 Troop, is Mne Tinson. Knowing his dad rather well, (joined up with him) former, Corp`s RSM WO1 Roger Tinson, his son is a chip off the old block, not only in looks, but build as well. if i remember rightly, his son Joined the REME first, and has obviously decided to follow in Rog`s footsteps. Well done, and hopefully a career to equal his dad`s.
any of the young men who have been to lympstone recently come across/joined up or passed out with him?

Strap Back.............Who`s That?
Yes I was in his troop for 20 weeks. Due to his background and experience he was a great asset to the troop. He was unofficially part of the training team. I was always impressed by his quick changes and was very fit considering his slightly chubbier build. He also helped me out with map reading as I was a bit of a 'Biff' in this area. I have memories of him swearing abuse at the men who couldn't even keep their mouths shut when fell in. He was great for the troop and well deserved to be KB. Dan passed out with him back in January.
