Chaps,
I have recently bought a Reebok Ironwear vest to wear when training, running, circuits, giving the missus a seeing-to etc.
I have to say that in only a couple of weeks i've really noticed an improvement in cardio endurance and leg strength.
They work by adding weight (obviously) and also raising the bodys temp. for a more efficient workout. (No - i'm not a sales rep for them).
You can get them from here:

They're not cheap (£100), but I reckon they're worth every penny.
I'm off to see if it'll stop a 5.56 mm round.

I've just got my reebok Iron Vest through the post today. I'm going to take it to Circuit training tonight (I'll probably have to take it off half way through), you can really feel the weight on the legs when you walk. It's a nice fit as well...It weighs 9kg (20lbs), but makes me weigh with it on 15st 0lbs...I can wait to get running with it on...The only problem with it is, it looks like a bullet proof jacket...And it'll make me look like I'm running from a gun fight...

Was gonna get one of them things, but they're hella expensive, i just use my trusty 42 pattern that I got for dirt.
edit: ahh just thought up another use for em while at CTC ...could use the weights in them vests (they're detachable) to rig up some webbing weight for when you start bottom field ....beats using a few diving weights and rocks like I used heh.

I've managed to increase my press up max by 8 in one week by doing 2 sets a day with it on...Bloody good stuff. Also very good for sit ups, squats etc. I must admit I get a few odd looks when scarpering around with it on...I fully agree if you can afford it, it's deffinalty worth it. I had to do a bit of blagging to get the cash, early b'day present and all that malarky.
