Correct poition, 1" above left eye, but P.W.s wore theirs more to Port, as did various other SQs and units. 45 for instance. Range snipers wore theirs back to front, particularly when firing into the sun :P

Any pictures of royals i've seen look quite smart, wherever their beret badge is. How come the para's seem to have no consistent rule, some of em look like their wearing flat caps!

So anyone seen this new SBS beret badge? And do they keep the green lid or go with something else?

I'm very afraid that the "something else" will be the next thing to change and I wouldn't mind betting my meagre pension, that it will be sand coloured!!

That guy at the bottom looks like he is wearing a ratting cap!! I can hardly see the cap badge. Surely even 45 Cdo don't wear it that far round!!
