Aren't you allowed to wear only issued kit on Selection?

Generally you have to wear issue kit to ensure a 'level playing field' so no one has any particular advantage.

So make sure you get a pair that fit properly, remember you will probably be wearing two pairs of socks and will have a heavy bergen, so your feet will spread, not so much in length but will be wider!!!!!!!!!
