Well I'm not happy. What will we do without a bad guy? I mean it's going to be like Austin Powers without Doctor Evil. I'm not saying I liked Saddam, but I feel like I did when the USSR collapsed, no more evil Kremlin, the old sayings like"Better dead than red" became meaningless overnight. Now "Nuke their ass and take their gas" doesn't mean anything.
The Camel Jockey, Raghead, Sand Nagger ect... will join the ranks of Ivan, Ruskie, Commie ect...

I'm depressed really, what is life without an evil nemissis to hunt for?
I'm sure OBL will be gotten soon, but he isn't really a good bad man, he really is dangerous. Saddam was like the Ivans, just the boogie man who lived in our imagination, after 10 years I just became accustomed to him in a strange way I guess, like the Commies before him.

So who should we nominate for "Cobra Commander" next?
I'm all out of ideas. I guess Chirac? Seems to be popular. He just doesn't have that evil appeal though.
Well anyway I'm glad our dragon slayers finally got him, its got to be good for moral, and I'm happy for them and all, but depressed because if things keep up like this, we won't have any enemies left, and what would the world be with Superman and no Lex Luthor?
Surely someone someplace has a pocket full of Kryptonite?
Hopefully Chirac could fill the shoes but I doubt it.
Well the military cuts are sure to happen now, Utopia and all.
Sorry to sound so down, but wasn't the thrill of the hunt fun?Maybe just a little bit? Now the truth is Sadman was living in a ditch, not on the International Space Station scheming. Maybe Dick Cheney could become influenced by the dark side and be the next Darth Vader? That would thicken the plot of the soap opra we call life.
Well anyway, I'm happy and just like umphf?
Congrats to the troops, BTW I hope they give Saddam to the kurds, or better yet I think Bush should kick his ass on Paypreview. Imagine that
and his re-election votes? Do it in Vegas at The Mirage or something. I bet the Pres. could kick his ass. Or better yet give Sadman to the Jews. Wasn't he involved with Hamas? :drinking:  :D

There is an evil machine called Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe that Dubya could have a pop at next, unfortunately there are no WMD's or oil to go after just a neo Nazi guy who doesn't believe in democracy.

I know the news is good, it was just so anti-climatic. No daring raid by SEAL/s and SAS, no secret plans taken on how the terror war was being waged, no WMD, just some privates and a few NCO's escorting a broken down old man to the HQ. Hardly how you'd picture the capture of "Dr.Evil".
They didn't even dramatize it like Jessica Lynch. What a dull ending to a complex and at times thrilling story that played over and past my military career. Just boring really.

I'LL be the next bad guy. Really, I would be perfect. I like guns and big explosions that blow shit all to pieces. I like to drive all fast and crazy in rush hour traffic in my big ass chevy silverado vortec v-8 crew cab pickup truck with the rebel flag on it while I spit tobacco juice out the window, Hank Jr's "If the South woulda' won We'd had it made" blaring on the radio. I eat like 12 spookaboos, ask whitey, the PC police would have a field day with me.

Just kidding, I'm glad we got the guy.

I predict OBL by the middle of the spring, and the economy takes off like a rocket because all that Iraqi oil is finally being valued against the Dollar instead of the Euro. At some point we will have to move into Saudi Arabia in order to save the Royal family which in turn will be an excuse to invade Syria, opening up a war with Iran, giving the Pakistanis an excuse to nuke India, causing us to invest heavily in the construction of more GMD assets that will cause North Korea to attack the South and launch against us which we will retaliate for which will cause China to take back Tiawan by force which will cause the Japanese to declare war on China, while this is going on the Balkans will explode, dragging russia into it inciting the whole of the Muslim world ushering an attack on Israel which will cause the Second Coming of Christ and boy are we all in trouble.

Well maybe he'll escape and it will be like Star Wars. The Empire Strikes Back, or "The Sadman Strikes Back", then Bush will get reelected and it will be "Return of the Jedi" or "Return of the Cowboy" ect..
I'd hate to think this is how it would all end, does't make a very good ending or much of a movie plot.

That would be cool to if the South became the new bad guy. The Confederates Strike Back, Return of the Stonwall Brigade. Instead of Jedi we could substitute Redneck.

The day after.

I find it notable that the administration is actually 'downplaying' the arrest, having learned the political risks of claiming victory too soon (the "mission accomplished" banner on the USS Lincoln).
But then, the democrats are doing their work for them.
Lieberman: if Dean was president, Saddam Hussein would still be in power.
Dean: proposes Bush a day of celebration.

Whitey's right: we'll always have Paris...

I think the only Dean I like is Jimmy Dean. That other Dean is nothing but a scallywag. Bush may not be the smartest most well spoken man, but I ain't neither. I figure if Bush leaves the 2nd Ammendment alone I'll vote for him, if he don't I'll vote 3rd party. Dean is a shit bag. I think the Democrats and Republicans need to go away, but that chance.

Bush is getting better though, he'd be better off if he fired Colin "Blue Gum" Powel though. And send them kikes at the Pentegon back to Izzyville. I need to be on his cabinet. Hey they got a black caucass, why not a Redneck caucass? :x

Whitey, the winds are blowing. Check out my thread "the shift" in the political forum, some form of order might be reintroduced at the top...

Just interested to know why Saddam looked so dishevelled, I mean if he were in disguise not to be recognised he surely stood out like a sore thumb, no other Iraqi I have seen since his capture looked like him and after all they look cloned. It is not that he cannot afford razor blades, he had enough dosh to buy Mars bars!

Hey White man,
Red Neck Caucus,I'd go for that.
I cannot be President, but I could be a right wing Senator from NC.
John Edwards having vacated that position.
Merry Xmas too you and your family.

Same to you Wholley. Do you know of LOS? Kennedy is gearing up for the Redneck vote in08 they say. I mean why not have some good loe boys, we got black caucuss, the Jewish league of very rich gentlemen, the Arabs got their foot in the door, the Yankees own the house, us and the chinks are sol though. Ever think about that? The Asians are left out of the diversity thing, I wonder why? That is why I like them, they know what it is like to be us and us them, just plain ignored and made fun of.
