BBC2- SAS & Ray Mear!

Post by Min »

Ello, i'm brand new to this site, but i just wondered what anyone thought of the "SAS Survial Secrets" & "Ray Mear's Real Heroes of Telemark" program, that was shown on BBC2 last night. Me being a wee little girlie i thought it was excellent. But i just wanted to know how realistic the SAS thing was....& thought the best people to ask were you lads Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr on here.....By the way the humour on here is 2nd 2 none, i love it, so i'm prepared for the ribbin' i may get :D

Welcome to the forum Min, I thought both programmes were interesting, I especially like the "Ray Mear's Real Heroes of Telemark". But some guys here think that these programmes are bollocks, each to their own I say.

Check this link out.

Min......Yeah Welcome.....Nice to see a female join the rabble... hope your stay will be long and enjoyable.
Ref. your question.....I found the programme on the reconstruction of the Telemark story excellent and the scenery stunning. I often find that these re-enactments are carried out with hindsight this was no exception... but it was still good.

Hows about putting your pic in the profile so we can see who we are talking to

Off with you now O'Pray....and leave this sweet damsel be......Min... You are real aren't you? The last Lady (loosely put)to visit the colony, sorry, forum, was not what she appeared to be and had the lads, well the elder members, O'Pray is one of too many to mention, all got a wee bit hot under the collar amongst other things :(
As you will see, by my Profile ( which will be changed tomorrow) I am but a mere Lad So if you would like me to chaperone you through the dusty and murky wastes of this forum....Please don't hesitate to ask for my assistance.
A word in your ear.....A few names to be weary of.. O'Pray, you have already met...from the deepest forests Vancouver island and anyone who lives in a town called Comox need to be weary of, then there is Artist... I wont tell you what type of Artist... suffice to say its very ugly....don't go there. We also have Harold Hackdorff, once a Brummy, now an antipodean... Deported for unsavory conduct and the fact that beer in Oz is cheaper than it is here. There is also one El Prez, a quite harmless self taught Gynaecologist, who as I speak(type) is on a walkabout somewhere in the south west I'm told he is taking photographs.... of what we do not know, though we are aware that his padded cell has a for sale sign outside it. There are still far too many other reprebates to mention, so I will worry you no more
Sleep Dreams..... :lilangel:
Aye... That means Night Night in sailor language?

Question.....Is a mute pig.....disgruntled?

No need to cast aspersions Mike. I didn't mention the fact that you came top on the dirty old man course. Now everybody knows and by the way min, Artist came second.

Aye - Andy. 8)
