You didn’t want an open minded discussion, what you expected was some PC, feely touchy, kumbaya type to admit how wrong we were/are about the Falklands and how they should be handed over to Argentina immediately, and I’m sure those responses would’ve received top billing on your web-site. Your country and leaders mis-read the will and determination of the U.K. in ‘82, and it looks like your keeping up that tradition.

The people of your so called "Malvins" wish to be BRITISH not argies, and when the alternative is puttting up with pr!cks like you this is no wonder. As long as these people wish to be British they will British. Guys this bloke was very young and is obviously a complete muppet but he did get a bit of abuse early on. Didn't excuse that last post though....oh dear.

But I wonder what it must have been like to be a massively under trained, conscripted soldier facing a military as good as ours. They don't have the benfit of a free press. The fact that it was just an attempt to divert the collpse of the government wouldn't have registered.

We proved the point in the Falklands of our quality as the finest army, man for man, in the world.

Give back the Falklands? First I ever heard of that. Most people I know probably don't even know what they are. I could care less if the UK holds the islands. You fought for it, you won it, it belongs to you. I've never heard of this issue outside this forum.

The Falklands are British and thats that! But i have to say that even though our military is as good as it is (possiblily the best - not wanting to stir anything) we didnt have the easiest of wars, we very nearly lost.

I will agree he is a muppet though!
