Just a thought here (mainly directed at Combat Wombat)
bear in mind the average age of an infantry soldier
Is it a mature higher number?
or closer to the early twenties?
British Soldiers, Sailors and that other lot have over the centuries visited far off lands, conquered them, built a pub and set up AA meetings (yeah right :) ) in every corner of the world. Getting pissed in far off lands is one of the perks of the occupation and sometimes friction between soldiers and 'locals' is inevitable but as 21 said, the Majority of us are dcent people who enjoy a good laugh, good pint and get on very well.
Those who aren't, well they're probably Para's :D
I am Ex-RGJ, didn't see the program and from the sounds of it, saved myself a broken TV too.
