RT test

Post by PHIL »

Hi scORCHing! I passed the RT earlier this year.
To my knowledge the test consisted of Simple fractions, percentages and typical English type questions like...

Canine is to Dog as Feline is to ........ (mouse, cat, horse, ape) :o
Its multi-choice!

But honestly you can obtain a free practice test from you local Careers centre just ask!!

But from my previous experience a rockin' horse should be able to obtain a decent score... :)

P.S The score you obtain, reflects your profession you could apply for..
for instance, a seaman would not need as high a score as say..
a medical technician or articifer (engineering technician)

P.P.S Hope this helps mate. 8)

RT is basically basic Maths. English and Mechanical comprehension. Brush up on your genral skills and log onto the Met or Surrey Police sites for free simular test questions.

Best advice I can give is to go over add, subtract, times, dividing etc on paper and get used to doing it quickly! questions themselves arnt too taxing but the lack of time makes it harder

Hope this helps,
