None of us will meet you only because you don't want us to. Send your address/telephone # to anyone via pm and I'm sure someone would drop in for a pint and a chat. I'm in Cheshire so am only a short drive away.
Of course, you could meet up at the 30 miler charity event or the proposed meet on Anglesey.
We all look forward to seeing you at one or other of these events.
What? Can't make them (or any other?)
Never mind, I'm sure you'll be turning up at an SB reunion at Poole?
Won't you??

Come on Hawkeye, you haven't replied to my PM either. Here's a couple more that are so simple I managed to think of them.
1)When exiting an 'O' class Boat which hatch do you use?
2)While working on the casing underwater in the Garloch the boat suddenly enters a pocket of freshwater. Do you
a) re-enter the boat through the hatch?
b) remain where you are and continue retrieving your kit?
c) advise the crew via hand signals?
3)What are the initials of SB CSM 1984-1987?
Prove you are not the weakest link,

Hola Roberto, buenos notches mi compadre, que pasa?
Never one to say"I told you so"
but on this occasion, hmmm.
Alimentary, my dear Watson
Re-breathers have changed since your day, the answer you expected(Not) was five meters. Visit Draeger`s website or the Buddy "Inspiration"
You`ll be amazed. Best in the world are Cis-Lunar from Florida, used in extended cave diving. Dive-time and depth records are now a question of" How deep do you want to go and how long do you want to stay there?"
In the words of our own dear Queen, "Another one bites the dust"
Self-abusers, doncha just lov`em?
Sadly, no.
Aye,
Never one to say"I told you so"

Remove your clothes, prepare for the Prod of destiny, and say after me, "I must get the answer right!" A fair bit out, but no clues to the clueless!Re-breathers have changed since your day, the answer you expected(Not) was five meters.

Pfff, talk about easy questions Rob!
1) What was the casual name for the LC base at ATURM?
10 Downing street (those lib dems are tough buggers you know...)
2) What chemical is used in rebreather sets?
Fairy liquid, although marmalade can be an acceptable alternative.
3) What is the max depth a rebreather set is used at?
The deep end at the childrens swimming pool.
4)When exiting an 'O' class Boat which hatch do you use?
The one marked "exit".
5) While working on the casing underwater in the Garloch the boat suddenly enters a pocket of freshwater. Do you
a) re-enter the boat through the hatch?
b) remain where you are and continue retrieving your kit?
c) advise the crew via hand signals?
c - you swim to he surface and get your mobile phone out, calling the captain to inform him he's gone down. When the sub surfaces again, you use hand signals, a demonstration of which is shown here...

6) What are the initials of SB CSM 1984-1987?

Q5 is spurious, you'd be history if it hit freshwater! Going down. Sad but true.
Apparently most of the answers to the questions I posed are in various books on the SBS. i wasn't aware of that,................or was I, will I ever reassure readers of my credibility, and liquidity (nice pun Parry, why thank you altar ego)
