Steve, I noted with intrest that a couple of the para band would have had difficulties in getting out of the aircraft door?
Any one see Prince A, down south in at an Argi Memorial.....was that a green lid I saw him wearing? If so What right does he have to wear it?

I have it on excellant authority that Prince Bullshit has the same right as Jimmy Saville to wear the Green Lid. I.E. honourary.
Our hero FAILED the All Arms.
His police minder actually passed all the tests.
Any of you gong spotters check out the medals he wears, as most of them are "honourary" too.
Now then, now then. How`s about, can you fix it for my son Andrew to wear a green hat, as there`s no chance he could ever get one legitt?
When our hero joined Invincible, he bounded enthusiastically into the wardroom, where sat Admiral Of The Fleet, The Lord Hill-Norton.
"Hi, there, I`m His Royal Highness, The Prince Andrew. But you can call me `Andy`"
Hill-Norton puts down his Telegraph, and peering over his horn-rimmed half moons, replies curtly,
"And I`m Admiral Of The Fleet, The Lord Hill-Norton and you can call me Sir"
Oops.
What`s Jimmy doing now, anyone know?
Charlie actually did pass, by the way.
Aye wonder

bandies, clerks, ruperts in 16AA who are too fat and spineless to attempt p-coy, all can have a red lid..
heard quite an amusing comment from an RM about 'Andy', "you can turn a frog into a prince, but you cant turn a prince into a marine.." Although Charles disproves the rule apparently...
Charles has done the wings course too, but not P-Coy. He's not the only one... tut tut..
Apparently the Queens speech is going to mention youth crime, on the spot fines etc.. can't think of anyone less qualified!! Whenever civvies discuss the issue of 'kids today' etc... Bring back national service is mentioned, whilst I am not casting aspersions on those that have done national service, I always ask Mr.Civvie if he would like to have a lackadaisical, 18 year old cleptomaniac coming to work with him every day!!

Dear Feathers
Keep taking the tablets, It'll all come together in the end. (so I have been told). Me, well a few pints of Hydes Black does the job. £1.70 a pint!
may your Bowels move in the right direction.
True story:
Edward on being kitted out in his Officers Blues for Andies wedding to Fergie. (more medals than soft mick)
Stood on the little rostrum, looked at his C/Sgt & says 'Now I'm a royal Marine arn't I Colour Sergeant'
Jan (that was the C/Sgts nickname) grabs him on both cheeks, leans forward & plants a big kiss on his lips & replies 'Not yet sir' (2 months later he wimped out, thank God)
O I wish I could have been a fly on the wall.
aye steve evans

Ha ha! Excellent!
IMHO Charles is actually a bloody good chap, and I hope he continues to write his letters and voice his opinions, because many of them are quite sound.
Talking of 'celebs' and the military, I remember as a child watching blue peter presenters attempt the Commando Course, did any of them manage it? The now infamous John Leslie was the last I saw attempt it... Then Tim Vincent tried P-Coy, and failed. Also, do they still try either course or any military courses in this day and age?
