how long would it take to get NVQs levels 1 & 2 or either one in carpentry, and once you get to battalion could you train as an assault pioneer or would you have to get experience first which i would imagine, and also what would be your role on operations.

Re: rlc pioneer
If you wish to become an Assault Pioneer, you will not be able to do so in the chunkies. You will need to transfer to a proper unit [infantry] and train there, once you have proved yourself proficient as an infantryman.skippy29 wrote:how long would it take to get NVQs levels 1 & 2 or either one in carpentry, and once you get to battalion could you train as an assault pioneer or would you have to get experience first which i would imagine, and also what would be your role on operations.

RoverTraining as an Assault Pioneer with demolition skills, or for more intensive artisan skills, is available to soldiers of the right calibre.
