"May I be so bold as to suggest looking at a much classier and certainly more frequently showered outfit?"

What you mean by that sittingstress?

Good stuff, you've got plenty to keep you busy then. :) Remember not to overdo it with your training and include rest days, especially if you are just starting off. Ref sittingstress, he was taking the piss but don't rule out the RAF or Royal Navy without looking into them at all. ;)

Just a bit more from the RAF point of view.

My dad's fiance recently joined the RAF (bit older than you) in the intelligence area. They are now living near London and she is loving it. I was actually up there visiting this past weekend and it seems like she is comfortable and happy.

She was pretty busy all the time though :o

Ashleigh, it was inter-service banter. As the bootnecks on here will agree, the Army is a grotty collection of individuals that have an aversion to washing.

A nickname for army punters is Percy Pongo as in "where ever the army goes the Pong goes".

Plus as a member of the RAF you will never have to steal cutlery.

It's always good to keep your options open when you're still undecided about things, but go with what feels right. If you have your heart set on something then just go for it Ashleigh.

Nice tattoo btw. ;)

Thanks! Everyone has been such a good help on here :). The only thing that worrys me is the fitness and training. I've been on a few sites and have got some exercise plans to do. Definately need to start doing more pressups etc because that is probably going to be the hardest thing for me!

Do more of them! :P Make sure that you are doing them properly as well, as with any exercise it is better to do 10 decent repetitions than 20 poor ones.

No, what you mean is that the army have to actually do some work, outside of an office, and therefore get a bit mucky in the process! Ashleigh, don't take any notice of these "civvies in uniform!"

Funny how there are so many replies to a 19 year old girl, bet there wouldn't have been quite so many to a lad asking the same question!! Twins, you say?? :-? :D :o
