Only on the phone so far as I couldnt get to the weds presentation because of work.
Went quite well actually,he didnt make me feel like a prat at all when I told him of my leaving the army in my pathetic way.
He did say though that I should be doing it the other way round, joining the Marines and not being able to hack it and then joining the Army!!
"You cant join the RM half heartedly mate, you need to want it really badly. You can join the Army half heartedly though!!" (No offence to any serving Army personnel. )
Anyway,he also told me to have a good long think about it,which I am.Im just trying to figure out how much I do want it,but it seems impossible to figure it out.I guess its not something you can truly know until your put through your paces...
On the downside though my bloody leg is playing up again so Im popping off down the docs tomorrow to see what they`ll tell me."Rest it and live on brufen... "
Got my theory test tomorrow so may pop into the office for a chat quickly beforehand.

Good on you mate, go for it. I always think if I don't try I'll spend the rest of my life wondering "what if?" and will kick myself when I get past 32 and am too old to ever find out.
If I try and fail/decide it's not for me then at least I'll know I wasn't cut out to be a bootneck and can hopefully put it to bed and focus on something else.
Getting injured is w@nk. It's almost as if your own body has turned against you. I've been having problems with my knees for a while but am slowly sorting them out. However frustrating it is, don't train through pain/when you're injured. I did and that's the reason why it's taking me so long to sort myself out.
