Can you be any age to go to the AFCO (Air Force Careers Office) and do I have to get an appointment?

That would all depend on who you speak to when you walk through the door, some chat complete rubbish others are excellent.

BTW, AFCO stands for Armed Forces Careers Office.

Best advice I can give is to go when you're 16 and have a chat. I did and the AFCO I go to are pretty good, they gave me some good advice, especially about gaining more education and such like before I joined up. I was basically told it never hurts to go and do your A Levels or go to college after your GCSE's.
Each to their own though ok. All the best for the future.
