Seems to be alot of this pish running about atm. Navy not allowed page 3 pin ups, think they said the same to the RAF as well.

Stupid pen pushers. They are prob more worried about the cost of paint to do these things than being politically correct!

Just to be pedantic the"Memphis Belle"Never belonged to the RAF as reported by the Daily Snail in the last phot,The aircraft(A Boeing B17-G)spent it's operational life with the USAAF.
It has now been restored and lives in Dayton Ohio.
The captain of this aircraft was from my part of the woods(Asheville NC)
Capt.Robert K.Morgan.
I met him at an airshow in NC a few years before he died.Nice guy.
