How long after leaving can you reapply?

How long after leaving can you reapply?

Post by judd »

I left the marines a year and half ago, i left 7 weeks in too basic. I was young and homesick, it was the right choice at the time to leave, when your homesick you can not concentrate on your training you just keep fu*king up, basically i was a shit recruit!

But now, i know i want the militery life, and am looking to apply perhaps RAF or a infantry regiment in the army, i am just wondering how long do i have to wait to start re- applying?

I think that you should be okay to re-apply now.

The question is are you ready?

Do you feel that you have matured enough to be sure that you won't do the same again?

More importantly, can you convince your recruiter that you have?

Best of luck.

why dont you want to go back to marines if you dont mind me asking?

I want to start of small and work up to the big boys now, the marines are deffinitly not to be underestimated! After leaving lympstone along with everything els i learned, i learnt that the royal marines are the hardest men in the world!

Maybe you should try The Parachute regiment then mate, mind you if you struggled with the Marines maybe you shouldn't :D

I'm only joking mate, really, don't sell yourself short. There's no point joining some average regiment and the trying to transfer because to be honest - you won't! You'll get comfy and won't be arsed or they'll hassle your request and you won't get to. Always go for the best in whatever you're doing, you have ONE life! You can do absolutely anything IF you want it that much :)

Gook luck, don't be average!!!
There is no fear, there is only the force.

Do or do not, there is no try.
