Host it from another site, for example photobucket or something similar.

I had problems with it too (see post below), but this cured it straight away.

Alright mate,

I was there from 1997-2002, mainly with B coy and the Sigs Plt. Looking to get back in soon as. Got to have a piece of metalwork removed from my leg first though. Won't be long though, the operation is due.

What about yourself?

Oh well mate :D I know the feeling!

Not a war wound unfortunatley. Got in fight with a guy who hit the girl I was with at the time. Kicked him so hard my leg snapped!! Then callapsed to the floor trying to strangle the guy until I realised my leg was in two, then proceded to feel very sorry for myself! He legged it (pardon the pun!)

If you've ever seen that vid on t'internet of the kickboxer who kicks the guy then puts his weight back on it and it just bends, that's exactly what I did! Never do it, it hurts!

You looking at joining?

Yep, I've seen the very video mate and them arm-wrestling vids made me think twice too. :D

Given time, will you be back at 100%?

And yes, I am looking to join the Regt. and if I could, would do it tomorrow, but it's not possible for me at the moment.

Good to hear it mate.

The leg thing was in 2003, back then I never planned to go back in so never had the metalwork out. I'm fitter than I've ever been though, it's only because the they won't let you back in with metalwork in place that it's coming out. Feels fine.
So as soon as I feel ok after the operation I'll be down the ACO again. Should be around Sept/Oct this year, can't wait.
